About Massage Therapy

ALL MASSAGE TECHNIQUES used are based on current scientific understanding, and evidence informed practice.

A growing body of evidence supports the established, well-known effects of Massage Therapy for numerous conditions and populations. Qualified therapists use assessments to isolate problems, then select and apply the appropriate techniques for each client.

Convenient Mobile Massage.

Remedial Massage (RM) encompasses common terms of treatment such as Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage, all of which are able to draw on a broad variety of effective research based techniques such as:

  • Trigger Point Therapy

  • Muscle Energy Techniques (METs)

  • Assisted Stretching, and gentle passive joint mobilisations.

A selection of the most effective techniques can then be used to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as:

  • low back pain, and associated symptoms

  • neck/shoulder pain, or related headaches

  • Frozen Shoulder

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)

  • Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS)

  • Osteoarthritis (OA) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

As with all worthwhile therapies, client education and self care should also be encouraged.

Great motivation for prolonging the benefits of treatment!
